New Zoombak Tracking App for BlackBerry Users

Zoombak, a company known for its personal GPS tracking devices, this week launched the Zoombak mobile app for BlackBerry users. The new app lets Zoombak customers locate their tracking devices in real-time from a BlackBerry smartphone.

To use, simply click "Find Now" and the current location of the Zoombak device is displayed on a street map, along with location information including city, state, date, time and latitude/longitude data. It also features a "Continuous Tracking" mode which lets you receive alerts in five-minute intervals for up to an hour. Zoombak announced today that their personal GPS tracking devices are now available at Best Buy. We told you about Zoombak tracking devices before, but to refresh your memory, Zoombak uses a satellite-enabled GPS and a location network server to find a lost pet, recover a stolen car, track your teen driver, find lost luggage, the list could go on and on...

But now, in addition to being able to locate the item, device, or person on demand from your PC, Zoombak lets you set up Speed Alerts and Safety Zones and receive an SMS Text message when a speed limit or safety zone has been broken. A great feature for those who have a newly licensed teenager in the house (like me).

Zoombak is available at Best Buy stores for $99.99 with a monthly service fee starting at $9.99, as well as being sold online at www.bestbuy.com.

Zoombak Launches New Customer Referral Program

April 21, 2009--Zoombak today announced the launch of its new Customer Referral Program to reward customers for word-of-mouth marketing and to drive sales of its first-of-its-kind GPS locator technology. The company will send $25 in cash to customers who refer new Zoombak users, and $15 in cash to new users referred through the program who purchase a Zoombak device.

Zoombak Cuts Prices on GPS Locators

Zoombak just announced they have reduced the price of their entire line of GPS Locators by $50. Zoombak’s compact, assisted (A-GPS) locator system uses a satellite-enabled GPS and a location network server to track your teen driver, recover a stolen vehicle, find your lost pet, among other things.
