12.1-inch MSI Wind U230 Netbook Now Available

MSI Computer is certainly rolling out products these days. We just told you about the new U160 netbook and now MSI announced the availability of the new Wind12 U230-033 and U230-040. Replacing the Wind12 U210, the new netbooks add a dual core processor and Bluetooth.

The U230-033 features an AMD Athlon NEO MV-40 processor and a 250GB hard drive, while the U230-040 has a dual core AMD Athlon X2 L335 processor and a 320GB hard drive. Both versions of the U230 weigh 3.3 pounds and include a 12.1" HD (1366x768) 16:9 aspect ratio LCD, 2GB of DDR2 memory, ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics card, a 6-cell battery and Windows 7 Home Premium operating system.

The Wind12 U230 also features MSI's EDS (Ergonomic De-stress) keyboard with keys that are 51% larger than your standard keyboard, as well as a 1.3M webcam, HDMI port, 3 USB 2.0 ports, VGA port, and a 4x1 card reader.

MSI Wind U160 Touts 15 Hour Battery Life

MSI just announced its second netbook with the Pine Trail platform, the Wind U160. Boasting a 15 hour battery life (when in ECO mode), this netbook is powered by the Intel Atom N450 processor, has a 10-inch backlit LED display, 1 GB of DDR2 memory, and a 160GB hard drive.

Additional features include Bluetooth connectivity, a 6-cell battery and Windows 7 Starter. It also comes with EasyFace facial recognition security software preloaded.

A 2010 iF Product Design Award Winner, the Wind U160 is just 0.98 inches at its widest point, making it the thinnest Wind model to date. It also sports a raised chiclet keyboard and a wide touchpad for more comfort while typing. The U160 is available in a sparkling gold or black for $379.99 and is available now at Fry's (Fry's product number L1600) and online at Newegg and Buy.com.

MSI just announced the Wind Top AE2010, what they call "the next-generation all-in-one desktop PC". This touch-enabled All-in-One PC features an AMD Athlon X2 Dual Core processor, a 20-inch widescreen, and has an EPA ENERGY STAR Version 5.0 efficiency rating.

The MSI Wind Top AE2010 features wireless connectivity, 320 GB hard drive, 6 USB ports, 4-1 card reader, SuperMulti DVD Rewriter, an ATI Radeon 3200 graphics card with DDR3 128MB VRAM and a has a built-in webcam and microphone. A color-matched multimedia keyboard and mouse is included as well.

The MSI Wind U123 netbook is now available for purchase

The MSI Wind U123 netbook was just released with a six-cell battery and weighs in at less than 3lbs. The Wind U123 can be upgraded with a nine-cell battery for an additional $30 and a little more added weight. Some of the key features include, an Intel Atom N280 (1.66GHz) processor, 1GB of RAM, a 10.2-inch (1024×600) screen, 1.3 megapixel webcam and a 160GB hard drive.
