New Black Nintendo Wii Bundle Available May 9

Nintendo announced that beginning May 9th, in addition to the Wii remote, Nunchuck controller, and Wii Sports game; the Nintendo Wii system will come packaged with Wii Sports Resort and the Wii MotionPlus accessory.

Nintendo also announced that along with the standard white Wii console, on May 9th it will be available in black as well. The new system package will remain priced at $199.99 in the United States.

"By including even more of our top-quality hardware and software in the basic Wii system package, we're extending that commitment to entertainment and value. Nintendo Announces Limited Edition Wii Sports Resort Bundle

Nintendo just announced that on Oct. 12th they are releasing a limited edition bundle of the Wii Sports Resort game with, not one, but two Wii MotionPlus accessories. The bundle will be available $59.99. Usually, Wii Sports Resort comes with just one Wii MotionPlus and sells for $49.99, with additional Wii MotionPlus units sold at $19.99.

"Shoppers are looking for value as we head into the holiday season, and this Wii Sports Resort bundle is a gift that players of all ages and experience levels can enjoy," said Cammie Dunaway, Nintendo of America's executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. "Best of all, it instantly gets multiple members of the household engaged in playing as soon as the package is opened."

The new bundle will be available while supplies last at most major retailers.
