VIZIO Launches 8 New XVT HDTVs

VIZIO has announced 8 new models ranging in sizes from 32- to 55-inches for its new XVT HDTV series. The comprehensive range includes cutting-edge technologies like 240Hz scenes per second, TruLED with Smart Dimming backlight technology, VIZIO Internet Apps (VIA) feature and high-style Slim Line profile 120Hz LCD HDTVs.

All of VIZIO's 2009 televisions are energy efficient, with each earning and exceeding Energy Star 3.0 qualifications by as much as 20%. Products are scheduled to ship throughout summer and into Fall 2009, with several already in-store or due to hit shelves. Read more

VIZIO Announces a Slew of New HDTVs

All of the announced TVs fall in the XVT, M and E series. The XVT series will feature TruLED and 240Hz SPS. And it will be available in 32- to 55-inches. The M series will feature a JAVA design and 120Hz technology and will be available in 32- to 47-inches. The E series, as in Eco, will drain the least amount of energy and will be available in 19- to 42-inches.

Also, these TVs will have integrated USB video inputs that are enhanced and offer high quality 1080p video playback, along with a Mega Dynamic Contrast Ratio of up to 2,000,000:1. The XVT series will include a universal learning backlit remote, too.

Between these 3 new HDTV series, there will be a total of 31 new models. This is VIZIO's entire 2009 lineup, so expect to see these rolling out soon, along with the prices.Read more
