ViewSonic added a new model to its ViewBook tablet line this week. Designed for first time tablet buyers, the ViewBook 730 is priced at only $249.
The ViewBook 730 features a 800x480 touchscreen display, runs Android 2.2, and its 1GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor is capable of 1080p video output via HDMI. It also includes a front-facing VGA camera for video chat, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 8GB of memory, and a microSD slot for an additional 32GB of storage. Amazon Kindle software is pre-installed too, for all the eBook readers out there.
The device also comes with a stylus for taking notes or working on art projects using the pre-installed Sketcher app. You can write directly on the screen, swipe across content and scroll through emails, thanks to the tablet's RiteTouch technology.Read more
