Disney's California Adventure -- The Video

Disney's California Adventure theme park was designed to recreate the California dream which everyone who's never actually visited the state seems to share - a land of golden enchantment where the eternal sunlight casts a deep amber glow on every gleaming surface, from the grandeur of Hollywood to the bountiful cornucopia spilling over every agricultural wonder California has bestowed on the rest of the world, from the navel orange to Napa Valley Chardonnay to the beloved deep-fried churro.
As for food, Napa's Mondavi Vineyards has an upscale restaurant there, as does New Orleans favorite Brennan's. Forget the myth of terrible and overpriced theme park food - California Adventure hosts dozens of excellent eateries and excellent food can be found throughout the park.

And the rides. California Adventure has by far the best rides of any Disney theme park. Its premier attraction, Soarin', actually had me yelping with glee. Designed to give you the virtual reality sensation of hang-gliding over the best of California, this ride is the single best thing I've ever experienced at a Disney amusement park, bar none. It's so cool you want to ride it all day long.
