Guitar Hero just launched their "5 Tickets, 5 Concerts Sweepstakes", an online scavenger hunt that challenges fans to uncover the full list of artists that will be included in Guitar Hero 5. Start your search at GH5.GuitarHero.com and register to participate in the contest and enter to win a set of 5 tickets to 5 different concerts in a major metropolitan area venue near your city.

Once registered, you will be given clues leading you to blogs, TV shows etc., and for the next five days, a selection of bands from the Guitar Hero 5 set list will be revealed. Once you have uncovered the bands from the designated locations, you must go to GH5.GuitarHero.com to verify the information you found and you will then be eligible to enter to win The Guitar Hero 5 Tickets, 5 Concerts Sweepstakes. Entries for the sweepstakes will be received through June 25, 2009. Registration is now open.

Rock Band Unplugged for PSP Ships Today!

May 26th, 2009 – Harmonix and MTV Games, along with distribution partner Electronic Arts Inc., announced that Rock Band Unplugged for the PSP (PlayStation Portable) system ships to stores in North America and Europe today!

Developed by Harmonix in partnership with Backbone Entertainment, a Foundation 9 Entertainment studio, Rock Band Unplugged creates a full band experience in the palm of players' hands by combining traditional beatmatch gameplay with key elements from both Rock Band and Rock Band 2. The hands are the "peripherals" in Rock Band Unplugged allowing players to take direct control of the lead/bass guitars, drums and vocals. In addition, players can capture a deep and interactive Rock Band experience by taking their band on the road in World Tour mode, practicing their chops in the Band Warmup Mode, or by taking on the most extreme musical challenge imaginable in Band Survival mode. JU-ON: The Grudge coming to the Wii this year!

XSEED Games just announced that it will be bringing the Nintendo Wii exclusive, JU-ON: The Grudge, to the U.S. this year. Dubbed as a "Haunted House Simulator," players can expect to be scared non-stop as they experience the game based off of Takashi Shimizu's original Japanese horror film, JU-ON. Takashi Shimizu will be serving as a creative consultant for the game's development, as well.

Players will use their Wiimote as a flashlight to explore haunted areas, including an abandoned warehouse, a dimly-lit hospital and a mannequin factory. Also, your friend can grab a second Wiimote and push buttons to make in-game events happen immediately.

Metroid Prime Trilogy Coming to the Wii

Did you ever wish you could play Metroid Prime 1 and 2 with the same controls as Metroid Prime: Corruption? Now you can! Metroid Prime Trilogy, a new premium three-game collection for the Wii will bundle all three Metroid Prime titles together on one disk. Atlus Bringing Demons to the PS3 this Fall

Demon's Souls, an action RPG, was released a few months ago in Japan. It sold very well, thus, Atlus is bringing it stateside. This game's biggest draw is its online functionality. Demon's Souls offers cooperative, player versus player and single-player modes as users will be pitted against hordes of demons.

This game is open-ended, so you can choose your own path and do whatever you want. From building and customizing your character to developing your stats and equipment, Demon's Souls offers an immense amount of replayability. Demon's Souls also uses a "World Tendency" system, which changes the aggressiveness of monsters, the rewards for killing them, and the triggering of events based on players' actions.
