Wii Makes Music
First there was Wii Sports, then came Wii Fit…coming October 20th is Wii Music. Different from Rock Band or Guitar Hero, with Wii Music up to four players can play most of the 60-plus instruments using motions with the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers. Simply strum to play guitar, drum to play drums, or hammer away to play piano. No need to learn complex buttons, just act like you’re playing the instrument!
What makes Wii Music cool is you can improvise...play one of the 50 songs (including popular, licensed, classical and Nintendo songs) from the long list faster, slower, skip a beat (or 10) there are no mistakes...it’s all in fun. Then, forward it to friends who are also playing Wii Music via the Wii Message Board. Those friends can then put their own spin on the tune and send it back. Improv Jams can be sent back and forth between friends over and over again.
If you don’t feel like playing an instrument, pick up a baton (Wii Remote controller) and become a conductor to lead a Mii orchestra. Make them play quickly, slowly, strongly or gently…you’re the maestro! Wii Music also has a tone quiz to test your musical ear with challenges, handbell game and more.
