 Nintendo Game Boy Advance SP Nintendo just hit the market with a new handheld game console called Gameboy Advance SP, a redesigned version of the Game Boy Advance. The system has a new illumination feature and flip-screen design, and is backward compatible for use with previous games and accessories in the Game Boy line.

The system is powered by a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery good for about 10 hours of game play and takes only three hours to recharge. The battery life increases to approximately 18 hours of continuous play when the Front Light Screen is turned off.

The Game Boy Advance SP is now available for about $100. It comes in two colors: cobalt (metallic) and platinum. www.nintendo.com
