Game Boy Advance Goes Platinum

Since its June 2001 debut, more than 5 million Game Boy Advance hardware systems have been sold, making it the most successful new hardware introduction ever. To celebrate its first anniversary, Nintendo is releasing a limited edition, platinum-colored Game Boy Advance on June 3, 2002, for $79.95. It will have a library of more than 200 video games by June 2002 and is backward-compatible with practically every Game Boy game ever released.
