Storm2 Coming to Verizon October 28

Verizon Wireless announced today that the BlackBerry Storm2 will be available beginning Oct. 28 at Verizon Wireless stores and online at www.verizonwireless.com. The BlackBerry Storm2 gets an upgrade with the BlackBerry OS 5.0, including new SurePress "clickable" display technology and built-in Wi-Fi.

The Storm2 features a 3.25-inch display at 184 ppi, 3G and global connectivity support, Wi-Fi, 256 MB of Flash memory, 2 GB of onboard media storage, a microSD/SDHD memory card slot with a 16 GB card (included). Verizon Wireless and Gateway announced today that the Gateway LT2016u netbook now comes with Verizon Wireless' Mobile Broadband service built into the device. The Gateway LT2016u will be available October 4th at www.verizonwireless.com and in Verizon Wireless Stores for $149.99 (after a $100 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement).

The netbook features a 10.1-inch high-definition WSVGA LED backlit display and comes well-equipped with 1 GB of memory, 160 GB hard drive and a digital media card reader. The 6-cell battery provides battery life of up to six hours.Read more

New Motorola Entice W766 Now at Verizon Wireless

Verizon Wireless and Motorola today announced the availability of the Motorola Entice W766 flip phone. Features include one-touch access to the music player, camera and speakerphone, 2.0 megapixel camera and camcorder, support for up to 8 GB of optional removable memory, Bluetooth, and the phone supports a wired USB 2.0 connection.

The Entice also supports VZ Navigator, Family Locator, Mobile Email, Mobile IM and Dashboard. Verizon's Backup Assistant keeps a copy of the phone's address book on a secure Web site, and the phone has IM-style texting for a view of text trails by contacts.

Motorola Entice W766 is available online today at www.verizonwireless.com for $39.99 after a $50 rebate with a new two-year customer agreement. It will be in Verizon Wireless Stores later this month for the same price after a $50 mail-in rebate.

The Samsung Rogue is a messaging phone with a full touch display. It has a horizontal slide-out, QWERTY keyboard, threaded messaging and one-touch access to Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, YouTube and Photobucket.
