Westin Adds Teen "X" Factor to Family Vacation

The Westin Rio Mar Beach Golf Resort & Spa has opened a new resort experience designed specifically for teenage guests (ages 11-17). The new Rio Mar X-Perience provides an exciting recreation club atmosphere where teens can enjoy a wide variety of indoor activities, or set out on exhilarating island adventures with other teens.

Dressed in funky Caribbean chic, the X-Perience headquarters is part game room, part café, with plasma televisions, music videos, karaoke, pool, ping pong, X-Box (monitors and games), sports equipment, and other teen essentials. Smoothies, sodas, lattes, lite snacks and other refreshments are available at the X-Perience "bar." In addition to on-property activities, the X-Perience crew coordinates off-site adventures such as rain forest power walks/hikes, river kayaking, snorkeling, horseback riding and much more.

Rio Mar X-Perience is located on the ground level of the resort's west wing, offering ocean front views and breezes. The club is open Wednesday through Saturday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
