Benefiting animals, VEGAS.com will donate the proceeds from its bookings of this special pet hotel to The Animal Foundation, a non-profit organization that operates the Lied Animal Shelter for the city of Vegas.

"VEGAS.com has opened up a lucrative and untapped market for pet tourism to Vegas through our agreement and the reach of their city travel site," he continued.

Travelers can visit the website's hotels page where they can easily book a room at any of the city's resorts, and then they can place an online reservation for their pet. Pets can either be dropped off at the hotel, which is located minutes from the Strip, or they can be picked up by the American Dog and Cat Hotel's staff at your resort or at the airport. The 7,500-square-foot facility offers private pet suites with color television, a free range area for daycare, overnight stays and play, an enclosed private yard, super-soft beds and plenty of loving care. The free-range area is like a pet romping room equipped with toys, soothing jazz music and doggie videos like "101 Dalmatians" and "Lassie". The trained staff keeps an eye on the animals and leads them in regular play sessions.
