Cheeca Lodge & Spa, longtime favorite of sport fishing fans across the country, recently released its new fall/winter sportsman package catering specifically to fisherman.

Both novice and seasoned fishermen will enjoy the American Sportsman Fishing Package, which includes a full day of fishing in the invigorating backcountry waters of Florida Bay. A professional guide will scout secret fishing spots where guests can throw a fly or use conventional tackle to catch native species like redfish, bonefish and permit.

The American Sportsman Fishing Package combines a backcountry-fishing trip with an overnight stay at the resort and all the necessities for a day out on the water. A large boxed lunch prepared by the resort’s award-winning restaurant and a $25 gift certificate for tackle or gifts in the sports shop is also included. This package is available through December 24th for $639. Additional nights are available for a discounted rate of $145 per night plus tax and service.

Two additional fisherman packages are available for back-country fishing enthusiasts for rates of $659 and $729. Both packages include one-night accommodations, lunch and a full day guided fishing trip. Theses rates are good for up to four anglers.
