With creative vision and dedication, they transformed 58 acres of land into a full- fledged dude ranch and made it the home of Clear Creek Ranch, nestled in a tranquil valley of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Children programs abound at Clear Creek. From horseback riding, nature hikes, and hay -rides to fishing, tubing, and white water rafting, the kids are never at a loss for excitement and fun. The parents delight in the fact that their children are in such good hands and having the time of their lives at the same time, making Clear Creek Ranch an ideal spot for families to come together for a thoroughly enjoyable and meaningful vacation. The children programs you will discover at Clear Creek Ranch are truly unique. The ranch wranglers take the kids out for an adventuresome trail ride and lunch on the much anticipated Junior Wrangler Ride, giving the kids a break from their parents (and vice-versa!). The Gems Mines trip gives the kids an opportunity to tour an actual mine and pan for real gems! Other cherished kids outings are the evening hayride and marshmallow roast with a sing along by a real Indian teepee. Parents are welcome! The most unusual and eagerly anticipated kids activity is the Horse Painting adventure. The big gray mare that resides at the ranch loves children and apparently loves to be painted! Graciously she becomes the blank canvas upon which the children mix a rainbow of colors and once the masterpiece is complete, watch the colors swirl and transform as the horse receivers her well-deserved bath!
