Toshiba Intros New Touchscreen Satellite Laptops

Toshiba has added two new laptops to its Satellite line, both with touch screens and loaded with Windows 7.

The new Satellite M505 Touch and Satellite U505 Touch models let you tap, drag-and-drop and scroll through files, Web pages and images and include Toshiba's new touch-ready productivity software called LifeSpace.

The Toshiba Satellite M505 Touch laptop features a 14.0-inch HD LED Backlit display, Intel Core 2 Duo processor, Intel Graphics Media Accelerator, 4GB DDR2 800MHz RAM, 500GB HDD, DVD SuperMulti drive, Webcam and microphone, and 5-in-1 Memory Card Reader. Toshiba Unveils Ultra-Thin Satellite T100 Series

Toshiba just announced a new series of laptops, the Satellite T100 Series. Unlike the pricey Dell Latitude Z, these ultra-thin laptops start at just $449.99.

Toshiba's Satellite T100 Series will be available in two screen sizes. The T135 features a 13.3-inch widescreen display and will be available with Toshiba's Fusion Finish in Nova Red, Nova Black and Nova White. The Satellite T115 has an 11.6-inch widescreen display and will be available in Nova Red and Nova Black.

The laptops feature Windows 7 Home Premium, spacious hard drives, ultra-fast DDR3 memory and lots of expansion ports, including HDMI-out. Built-in Wireless N technology and Bluetooth (available on select models), full-sized keyboards and full-sized Touch Pads with Multi-touch Control are included as well.Read more

Toshiba just unveiled the Qosmio X500 Series, a line of laptops geared for high definition multimedia and gaming.

Qosmio X500 Series laptops feature the new Intel Core i7 processor, an 18.4-inch diagonal widescreen display, Windows 7 and Intel's Turbo Boost Technology. The laptops also offer DDR3 system memory, dual hard-drive configurations, and NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250M graphics with 1GB of GDDR5 video memory. Toshiba Gets in the Blu-ray Game

Toshiba today announced their first Blu-ray player. The BDX2000 supports BD-Live, outputs 1080p at 24 frames per second, and has the REGZA-LINK function which connects the player with a REGZA LCD TV via HDMI cable to watch content using a single remote control. The BDX2000 also includes an SD slot so photos and videos can be viewed.
