Westinghouse to Unveil 70-inch 1080p Full HD LED TV at CES 2012

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) takes place January 10-13, 2012 in Las Vegas but the new product announcements have already started rolling in. Big news (literally) from Westinghouse Digital – the company will unveil its largest offering to date, the 70-inch UW70T9VZ 1080p Full HD LED TV. This new LED TV boasts a 120Hz refresh rate and has an 8 ms response time.

Also, Westinghouse will be debuting its first offering from an upcoming line of ultra-slim bezel LED HDTVs - the 46-inch UW46T5PZ. This 1080p Full HD TV, in addition to its ultra-slim bezel design, offers great picture quality and features a 120Hz refresh rate.

But CES won't be all about TVs. Westinghouse will also be showcasing its first soundbar, the WSB-N20BW Series Soundbar with Wireless Bluetooth. The soundbar will feature powerful sound and a sleek, clean design, offering 2x12 watts, a class D amplifier, and a frequency response of 85Hz – 20Khz, with enhanced bass.

Westinghouse HDTVs with SRS TruSurround HD Now Available

You will now find SRS TruSurround HD on select Westinghouse HDTVs, both companies announced this week. The models that include SRS TruSurround HD are the 26-inch LED HDTV (model LD-2680) and 42-inch LED HDTV (model LD-4258), both with full 1080p HD.

"Our TruSurround HD technology is the industry's most popular virtual surround sound solution and we are excited that Westinghouse Digital's customers are now able to enjoy this powerful audio enhancement technology from the comforts of their own homes," said Allen H. Gharapetian, Sr. Vice President of Marketing for SRS Labs, Inc. Westinghouse Unveils 47-inch 3D TV for $1199

A 47-inch 3D LCD HDTV for $1199? You read that right! This week Westinghouse Digital announced its first 3D TV, the 47-inch W47S2TCD at an MSRP of $1199.

The 47-inch W47S2TCD, is a passive 3D LCD that features 1080p full HD resolution and a fast six ms response time. The set features options like 3D noise reduction, inverse 3:2 pulldown, three-way selectable color temperature and DayBright, for optimal daytime or nighttime viewing. The 47-inch W47S2TCD contains no lead and is ROHS compliant. It ships with four pairs of glasses.

In addition to the new 3D TV, Westinghouse will have new LED and LCD models on display at CE Week in New York City. Models include the 60-inch VR-6025Z 1080p LCD HDTV, 46-inch WC-4625T LED HDTV, 42-inch LD-4258 and 40-inch LD-4070Z LED HDTVs, along with the 24-inch LD-2480 LED HDTV.Read more

Westinghouse's 55-inch 1080p LCD HDTV Now Available

Westinghouse keeps adding to its affordable 1080p LCD HDTV lineup. Just announced this week, the 55-inch VR-5525Z, is now available in stores. This full HDTV features a 120Hz refresh rate with MEMC (motion estimation/motion compression), a technology that smooths images by reducing judder and blur.

The VR-5525Z features plenty of connectivity choices, including four HDMI inputs, and has earned the Energy Star for meeting Federal energy efficiency standards. It is available now at select Target stores for $999.
