Canon's PIXMA MG8220 and MG6220 Wireless AIO Printers Now Support Google Cloud Print

Canon announced on Tuesday that its PIXMA MG8220 and MG6220 Wireless Photo All-In-One inkjet photo printers now support Google Cloud Print. Google Cloud Print allows you to print emails and documents from Gmail and Google Docs on your mobile device no matter where you are. You can also share your home and work printers with anyone you choose. In addition, it allows you to print from the Google Chrome browser for Mac, Windows, Linux, and Chrome devices.

Canon Announces New PIXMA Printer Supports AirPrint Wireless Printing

March 6, 2012 – Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital imaging, today announced that the PIXMA MX892 Wireless Office All-In-One inkjet printer will support Apple AirPrint wireless printing from iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch. AirPrint allows users to wirelessly print photos, email, web pages and documents without installing device drivers.

AirPrint will be available with all Canon PIXMA Wireless All-In-One inkjet printers launched from this point forward. AirPrint works with iPad, iPad 2, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S and iPod touch (3rd generation and later) running using iOS 4.2 or later.

Canon's New Wireless PIXMA MX892 All-in-One Prints from the Cloud

Home office workers, take note! Canon's new PIXMA MX892 all-in-one wireless printer does it all. This machine prints, copies, scans and faxes - including documents and images from the cloud and other compatible portable devices.

The PIXMA MX892 utilizes the ChromaLife 100+ 5-ink system to deliver high quality prints at a resolution of 9600 x 2400 dpi. It includes a 3-inch LCD screen to preview images and can generate a 4" x 6" borderless photo in about 20 seconds. As far as documents are concerned, the MX892 prints up to 12.5 images per minute in black and white, and about 9.3 images per minute for color. In addition, its scanner touts resolution of 2400 x 4800 dpi.

Using software like Google Cloud Print and PIXMA Cloud Link, you can send documents or photos to the PIXMA MX892 directly from any computer, tablet, smartphone - or from online albums.

Canon Unveils the EOS 5D Mark III DSLR

The Canon EOS camera system has been around for 25 years, and what better way to celebrate than to announce the new EOS 5D Mark III Digital SLR? Featuring a newly-designed 22.3-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor, Canon's Digic 5+ image processor, a new 61-Point High-Density Reticular AF System and six frames-per-second (fps) continuous shooting speed, this camera offers numerous upgrades from the almost 5 year old EOS 5D Mark II.

On the video side, the 5D Mark III captures 1080p Full HD video at 24p, 25p, and 30p fps, as well as 720p HD recording at 60 and 50 fps and SD recording at 25 fps with H.264 video compression. It also offers better noise reduction, longer recording times and a built-in headphone jack - video features that cinematographers and videographers can appreciate.

Canon on Tuesday took the wraps off of ten new PowerShot digital cameras. The lineup includes Wi-Fi models, a new rugged digital cam, and one with a 20x zoom (to name a few).

First up is the flagship of the ELPH line - the PowerShot ELPH 530 HS. Measuring in at a mere .78 inches thick, this Wi-Fi enabled camera packs a 10-megapixel high-sensitivity CMOS sensor, DIGIC 5 image processor, and 12x optical zoom into its tiny body.

The ELPH 530 HS sports a 3.2-inch LCD touch screen and also records 1080p Full HD video. Additional features include Smart AUTO scene selection with 58 scenes, Face ID for up to 12 registered subjects and Intelligent Image Stabilization (IS).
