ViewSonic Rolls Out Two New ULV Notebooks and an All-in-One PC

ViewSonic's first ULV notebook was announced in January at CES and now the company has added two more notebooks to its ULV line, the 14-inch VNB141 ViewBook and 13.3-inch VNB132. ViewSonic also added a new 19" All-in-One PC to its lineup, the VPC190.

The ViewSonic 14" VNB141 ViewBook features a ULV SU7300 Intel Core 2 Duo processor, Windows 7 Home Premium, 2GB of RAM and 250GB hard drive. The VNB141 also has a 1.3MB built-in webcam, 6 cell battery and integrated DVD RW Super Multi Drive. Connectivity options include two USB ports, integrated 802.11b/g/n wireless, and VGA and HDMI outputs.Read more

ViewSonic's 120Hz, 3D-Ready Projector Now Available

Yesterday we told you about the new NVIDIA 3D Vision-Ready projectors from Acer, and today another 3D-ready projector is hitting the marketplace, this one from ViewSonic. The new PJD6531w 120Hz, 3D-ready DLP projector is now shipping.

Main features of the PJD6531w include:

ViewSonic's First ULV Notebook Now Available

Introduced in January at CES, ViewSonic's first ULV notebook computer, the VNB131 ViewBook Pro, is now available.

At only an inch thick, the 13.3" VNB131 features the ULV SU7300 Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 320GB hard drive, 2GB internal memory and runs on the Windows 7 Home Premium OS. It also has removable DVD RW Super Multi ODD and up to 12 hours of battery life.

Additional features include a multi-touch keypad, 802.11b/g/n wireless, two USB 2.0 ports, a 7-in-1 card reader, HDMI and VGA connections. The VNB131 also sports a 6 cell battery for up to eight hours of computing time, plus an extra 3 cell battery that can be interchanged with the removable DVD ODD for an additional four hours of battery life – for a total of up to 12 hours.Read more

ViewSonic Ships First Netbook

ViewSonic's first netbook will be hitting store shelves this week. The new VNB102 ViewBook is a 10" netbook featuring Win 7 OS, an Intel Atom N270 processor, 1GB internal memory, 160GB hard drive and a six cell battery with up to 6 hours of computing per charge. Additional features include a 1024x600 LED display, built-in 802.11b/g wireless connectivity, a 3-in-1 card reader, plus a VGA output and three USB ports.

ViewSonic just announced they have added two new PC Minis to their lineup, the VOT530 and VOT550 . These small-format PCs are great for creating your own media and entertainment hub. They come standard with Windows Home 7 Premium, Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2GHz processors and 802.11b/g/n wireless. Also, they use up to 45% less energy and up to 50% less plastic than a tower PC.

The VOT530 PC Mini comes with 2GB of memory and a built-in DVD drive. It is available now for $749 MSRP.

ViewSonic today announced a new palm-sized media player, the VPD400 MovieBook. It features a 4.3-inch high-resolution screen, 8GB of internal memory, an extendable Micro SD storage slot and features a battery life of up to 12 hours of audio and up to six hours of video.

The VPD400 MovieBook plays HD movies and video (with optional subtitles), as well as lets you share photo albums, read digital books, record voice memos, and of course, listen to music. It supports the following video and audio formats: AVI, MKV, FLV, MPG, MOV, MPG, VOB, RM/RMVB and H.264 for video and MP3, WMA, WAV, FLAC and DTS/AC3 for audio.

ViewSonic's VMP70 Media Player Does 1080p for Less Than $100

ViewSonic this week announced the new VMP70 media player box, a new device that makes viewing Full HD 1080p multimedia easy. Simply insert a USB or external hard drive into the player and watch HD movies and TV shows on your television. You can view photos and listen to music as well. It also includes an S/PDIF port for surround sound connectivity, HDMI cable and a remote control. Sound expensive? It's not. It is available now for under $100.

The VMP70 weighs less than one pound and supports more video and audio formats than any media player available today, including MPEG1/2/4, Divx/Xvid, MKV, H.264, VC-1, WMV9, RM/RMVB, DTS, Dolby Digital, WMA, MP3, FLAC, OGG and MKA to name a few. ViewSonic's Mini Pico Projector

ViewSonic just announced the availability of its smallest DLP projector to date, the 2.2 pound PJD2121. ViewSonic designed this tiny projector specifically for small meeting rooms. It has a short 1:1 throw ratio, making it possible to display images 60" or greater from only four feet away.

This ultra-portable DLP projector supports both 720p and 1080i HD formats, delivers 400 lumens and an 800x600 SVGA native resolution, and has a contrast ratio of 1,800:1. The PJD2121's 'Off to Go' function lets you power down instantly without damaging the lamp. It also has a bottom load lamp and filter-less design for easy maintenance. A Kensington security lock port is also included.
