Denon's N7 Network Music System Now in Black - Includes Free AirPlay Upgrade

You can now get Denon's N7 Networked Music System in black, as well as the original white "mod style". The N7 consists of the RCD-N7 CD Receiver and SC-N7 Stereo Loudspeakers and now comes with a free AirPlay upgrade, usually priced at $49.99. With the free AirPlay upgrade, you can stream your iTunes music library from a Mac or PC on your Wi-Fi network, as well as music stored on your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch.

In addition to AirPlay, the N7 includes other networking features, such as Internet radio, support for the Napster music subscription service, and "Party Mode". Party Mode allows you to stream music from an attached iPod to up to five Denon audio components on your Wi-Fi network – giving you whole-house music. Of course, it also plays CDs, AM/FM radio and has a top-mounted iPod dock. The sound is top-notch too, thanks to the N7's full digital processing, which provides a pure signal transfer for optimum audio from all sources.

Denon Brings 3D, Dolby and Audyssey to AVR-5308CI Receiver, AVP-A1HDCI Preamp Via Upgrade

Denon just announced a major upgrade for owners of the AVR-5308CI A/V Receiver and AVP-A1HDCI A/V Preamplifier. The hardware and firmware upgrade will provide full 3D pass-through capability, as well as Audyssey MultEQ XT32, Audyssey DSX and Dolby PLIIz. This is the 4th upgrade that Denon has offered to owners of its high-end products, ensuring their products have the most up-to-date features and capabilities. The upgrade is scheduled for October.

Denon and Marantz A/V Components Now Offer AirPlay Streaming

AirPlay music streaming is now available on nine Denon and Marantz components, the first A/V devices to include this capability. Thanks to the newly launched Apple iOS 4.2 update, owners of AirPlay compatible Denon and Marantz components can now stream songs directly from their iTunes music libraries, as well as music stored on their mobile devices, though their Wi-Fi enabled networks from their iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch devices.

Denon and Marantz to Offer AirPlay Music Streaming in Select A/V Components

Denon and Marantz announced that they will each offer Apple's AirPlay music streaming on nine network-capable audio/video components via a feature upgrade. The upgrade will make the A/V receivers the world's first to include AirPlay capability.

With the incorporation of AirPlay in Denon and Marantz products via the upgrade, users will be able to stream music (along with artist information, album art and elapsed and remaining time) from their iTunes collections to selected Denon and Marantz components. The upgrade will be available for purchase for $49 through the Denon website on November 25, 2010. The upgrade will be available on the following products:
