Acer is bringing its Iconia Tab to AT&T on September 18. The new Iconia Tab A501 is a 10.1-inch Android Honeycomb tablet that includes AT&T's 4G mobile broadband for super fast download/upload speeds and smooth video streaming.
The Iconia Tab A501 features a 10.1-inch touch-screen 1280x800 TFT WXGA display, a 5MP rear-facing camera with flash and auto-focus, and 2MP fixed-focused front-facing webcam. It is powered by a NVIDIA Tegra 2 mobile 1GHz dual-core processor and integrated GeForce GPU and weighs just 1.69 pounds. The tablets' HSPA+ technology with provides up to 4x faster data transmission. You can also access Wi-Fi networks via Acer InviLink Nplify 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi CERTIFIED wireless technology.
Connectivity options include an HDMI port for connection to an HDTV, a full size USB 2.0 port for hooking up peripherals, a Micro SDHC slot and micro USB port. It also comes with Acer clear.fi, which connects with any other DLNA-compliant device to share digital media. It automatically detects clear-fi-enabled devices on your wireless home network (smartphones, notebooks, HD media players, etc.) and gathers and organizes media files by type (video, music, photo, pre-recorded TV).
