Samsung has what they are calling a new category of Android ultra-mobile devices. The new Galaxy Player isn't a large tablet (the screen sizes are four and five inches), nor is it a smartphone, but it has many of the features of both – Internet access, Android apps, games, the ability to watch videos, play music and enjoy e-books.
The 4" and 5" screen models of Galaxy Player both boast Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) connectivity, front and rear cameras (including a flash on the 5" model), stereo speakers, 8 GB on-board memory (expandable via MicroSD slot), and support for Adobe Flash 10.1.
The players support videos in DivX, Xvid, WMV, MPEG4 and H.264 formats, along with the audio support for MP3, WMA, AAC, Ogg, and Flac. Read more
