The new "Travel Flat" series of tripods are different from your traditional triangular tripods. Made of Aluminum, Carbon Fiber, Magnesium and Stainless Steel components, the Travel Flat tripods feature a patent pending, flat unified "spider" or connecting hub, which contributes to its super-small size when folded. The Travel Flat series also has a new dust- and water-resistant leg-locking system and includes an accessory center column, adding approximately 8 to 12 inches of extra extension and adjustment.
