Powermat this week unveiled its second generation line of products after just one year of the company's launch. Powermat listened to consumers and created its Gen 2 line to be super slim (just 1.6mm, down from 3.4mm) and form-fitting. Also, with the Gen 2 line, no longer do you have to plug and unplug the device. Simply pop on the receiver once, then drop and charge. Receivers are available for popular smartphones including the iPhone 4, HTC EVO, HTC HD2, Motorola Droid X, Blackberry Bold 9700 series, Blackberry Curve 8500/9300 series and Nokia N97. And iPhone 4 users…the receiver also doubles as a protective case!

Each of the new receivers are sold either individually or as part of a complete charging solution that includes a single position mat and its own power supply.
