Yesterday, the big news was Microsoft's new Windows Phone 7. The first device to include the Windows Phone 7 OS from T-Mobile is the HTC HD7. Featuring a 4.3-inch touch display, it has the largest screen available on a Windows Phone in the U.S. It also has the largest virtual keyboard on a Windows Phone, and includes a built-in kickstand for viewing movies or playing games.
The HTC HD7 uses Qualcomm's 1 GHz Snapdragon processor and also includes GPS functionality, Internet Explorer 8, 16 GB of internal memory, HD video recording, and a 5 megapixel autofocus camera with dual LED flash.
The HTC HD7 comes packed with pre-installed entertainment apps including Netflix, T-Mobile TV, Slacker Radio, Xbox LIVE and Zune. It is also the first device to offer T-Mobile Family Room, a new application that helps families keep in touch via a virtual chalkboard. Calendar events can also be shared for their Family Room group to coordinate get-togethers. Family members are alerted when any family member posts something for everyone to see. Read more
