Dell on Tuesday announced the company's first Andriod smartphone, the Aero. Weighing in at 3.67 oz., the Aero is said to be one of the lightest smartphones available today. Available from AT&T, it features a 3.5-inch capacitive multi-touch display, 5-megapixel camera, Flash capability, Wi-Fi access and GPS.

It ships with a 2GB Micro SD card, expandable to 32GB. Connectivity options include Quad-Band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, Tri-Band UMTS/HSDPA, WiFi and Bluetooth. Quick Office, Facebook with integrated calendar and contacts, Twitter and additional applications by Google, including YouTube and Android Market are also included on the device.

The Dell Aero is available for $99.99 with new AT&T two-year contract, and $299.99 without at Dell.com/mobile. It will be available soon at www.wireless.att.com.
