 HP web connectivity

Sure, you've heard plenty about the wireless printing capabilities of many inkjet printers. But what about laser printers? Thanks to a new firmware update from HP, select HP LaserJet printers and MFPs will get mobile printing functionality allowing you to print documents from your smartphone, tablet or laptop directly to your HP LaserJet device. This includes cloud connectivity that enables HP ePrint Wireless Direct and Apple AirPrint.

HP ePrint Wireless Direct Printing allows you to connect directly to an HP ePrint-enabled printer without a network or internet connection. Users simply walk up and connect to a printer from any Wi-Fi-enabled mobile device with a peer-to-peer connection.

AirPrint enables iPad, iPad 2, iPhone and iPod touch customers using iOS 4.2 or later to print wirelessly from select apps and programs directly to any AirPrint-enabled HP LaserJet printer or MFP without the need to install drivers.Read more
