Sure, you can find an iPod, iPad or so-called "universal" speaker dock anywhere you turn. But Grace Digital is coming out with the FireDock Speaker Dock, for…you guessed it…the Kindle Fire.

Available in July 2012, the FireDock was engineered especially for the Kindle Fire, accommodating the tablets' unique USB port, headphone jack and power button, all found on the bottom of the device. In addition, many universal 3.5mm speaker docks don't let you charge the device while in use or it's difficult to access the device's buttons. Not the FireDock…it not only charges the Kindle Fire while on AC power, but the optional (sold separately) lithium-ion battery-pack allows you to take it with you on the go. In addition, the rotating cradle securely holds the 7–inch tablet in either horizontal or vertical viewing angles.
