Panasonic Adds Blu-ray 3D Players, 3D Home Theater Systems to Avatar 3D Promo

Panasonic announced this week that they are now including the AVATAR Blu-ray 3D movie with the purchase of 2011 Panasonic Blu-ray 3D players and 3D Home Theater Systems.

Originally only available with the purchase of select bundles, now consumers who buy a Panasonic Full HD 3D Blu-ray Disc Player (DMP-BDT310, DMP-BDT210, DMP-BDT215, DMP-BDT110, DMP-BDT115) or a Panasonic Blu-ray 3D Home Theater System (SC-BTT770, SC-BTT370, SC-BTT270, SC-BTT268, SC-BTT273) between March 1, 2011 and February 29, 2012 will be able to receive the Blu-ray 3D title via mail-in coupon.

This week Panasonic announced they have an exclusive Avatar 3D bundle available with the purchase of a 2010 Panasonic VIERA 3D Full HD TV. The Panasonic 3D Full HD Ultimate Pack is priced at $399.95 and features the Blu-ray 3D version of James Cameron's Avatar and two pairs of rechargeable Panasonic 3D Eyewear with the purchase of a VIERA VT Series or GT Series Full HD 3D Plasma TV.

Panasonic Offers $25 Rebate with Purchase of Blu-ray Player and AVATAR

Panasonic and 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment have teamed up on a promotion offering consumers a $25 cash rebate with the purchase of a 2010 Panasonic Blu-ray player or home entertainment system as well as AVATAR on either DVD or Blu-ray Disc.

The mail-in rebate applies to purchasers of the DMP-BD45, DMP-BD65, DMP-BD85, DMP-B100 and DMP-B500 Panasonic Blu-ray players. Entertainment systems included in the promotion include the SC-BT230, SC-BT330, and the SC-BT730.

"AVATAR is perhaps the purest example of the tremendous benefits of Blu-ray Disc movies which allow consumers to enjoy stunning Full HD, true-to-life imagery as the movie creators intended it to look," said Bob Perry, Senior Vice President, Panasonic Consumer Electronics Company.
