Onkyo on Monday unveiled the new TX-8050 network stereo receiver and C-7030 CD player.
The TX-8050 network stereo receiver can connect to a range of music sources – its front-panel USB port connects to your iPod/iPhone (and other USB devices), an Ethernet jack streams music from your computer, and Onkyo's Universal Port connects to Onkyo's iPod docks, HD Radio tuner and more. It even supports classic audio sources such as turntable, AM/FM, audio recorder, AV sources, and a CD player via analog or optical/coaxial digital connections.
Supported audio files include MP3, WMA, WMA Lossless, FLAC, WAV, Ogg Vorbis, AAC, and LPCM audio. The TX-8050 can also stream Internet radio channels from Pandora, Rhapsody, Napster, SIRIUS XM Internet Radio, Slacker, Last.fm, Mediafly, and vTuner.
