Developed by Mobinnova, the elan netbook made its debut this week at Computex. What makes this netbook so unique is that it claims it can show 5-10 hours of continuous HD video playback on a single charge or play up to 24 days of continuous audio playback on a single charge.
This 8.9-inch netbook weighs only 1.84 lbs (836g) and is .8 inches thick. Also, the elan will use NVIDIA's Tegra-based platform that supports accelerated Adobe Flash animations and 720p high-definition video playback.
The elan is fanless and boasts Wi-Fi and 3G wireless connectivity. There is no information regarding the price or release date. I am very intrigued by this netbook and I hope it will make its way to the U.S. Check out the full press release here.
