New Gadgets: BlueAnt Embrace Stereo Headphones Review

The Embrace headphones move away from BlueAnt's bluetooth wireless line, and focus on comfort and sound quality

 Blue Ant Embrace

BlueAnt's recently introduced the Embrace headphones, a departure from its Bluetooth wireless roots with a wired stereo headset. The stylish over-ear headphones include an integrated mic and controls for iOS devices that allow you to make hands-free calls and play, pause, and track-forward audio selections. Although their $200 retail price tag sways toward the higher end of the consumer market, these over-ear headphones showcase robust, well-defined sound and padded comfort. These are one of the best new gadgets BlueAnt has brought to market in a little while.

These are BlueAnt's first non-Bluetooth headphones, using a standard 1/8" connector, and designed with a focus on sound quality and comfort. They also come with two cables, one regular cable and another with an iPod/iPhone/iPad controller & microphone.

BlueAnt's Q2 Headset Touts Text-to-Speech, Better Wind Noise Reduction

 BlueAnt Q2

Remember the Q1 Bluetooth headset from last year? Popular for its ease of use (and its pretty looks), the Q1 was a hit. Now BlueAnt Wireless has introduced the Q2, featuring the industry's first integrated Text-to-Speech feature that announces the caller's name from a database of up to 2,000 phonebook entries. The Q2 also has better wind noise reduction at up to 22 mph, and can access stock quotes, movie times, weather, sports, news and traffic updates through integration with Microsoft's Bing 411 service.

The Q2 also supports a free, downloadable Android app, which allows any Android 2.0+ handset to play text messages through the Q2 headset. Additional features include A2DP audio streaming for listening to music, GPS directions; and multipoint functionality allows two mobile phones to be connected simultaneously.

The BlueAnt Q2 is available now at AT&T stores for $129. Get information on at www.blueantwireless.com.

BlueAnt Q1 Bluetooth Headset Coming to AT&T July 19

 BlueAnt Q1

AT&T just announced that on July 19th the BlueAnt Q1 Voice Controlled Bluetooth Headset with Multipoint will be available in AT&T stores and online at www.wireless.att.com.

The BlueAnt Q1 is a noise-cancelling headset that you control using your voice. All you have to do is push a button and say, "What can I say?" and the headset will give you a menu of voice commands. Much easier than memorizing different button combinations.

The Q1 also features BlueAnt's Voice Isolation Technology software which distinguishes your voice from other background noise. This makes your call much clearer than some of the other headsets in the marketplace. And with true multipoint technology, calls can be managed from two phones at the same time.

The BlueAnt Q1 will be available for $129.99 on July 19th at AT&T stores and online at www.wireless.att.com. To learn more about the BlueAnt Q1, visit www.myblueant.com.

Stream Music, Connect Multiple Phones on New Bluetooth Car Speakerphone

 BlueAnt S1

The new BlueAnt S1 car speakerphone gives you a safe (and easy) way to use your mobile phone while driving. Want to answer a call? Simply say the word "Answer"… there is no need to take your hands off the wheel or your eyes off the road. If your phone has a voice dial feature, you can make calls using your voice too.

What makes the S1 stand out from their previous models is this - thanks to multipoint technology, two people can have their phones connected to the S1 at the same time. Both users can make calls through the S1, and if either phone rings the call automatically transfers to the speakerphone. Read more
