It's a well-known fact that new technology ushers in a barrage of deals on the previous-generation tech it replaces. We've seen that occur with processors, smartphones, laptops, and even tablets. Westinghouse to Unveil 70-inch 1080p Full HD LED TV at CES 2012

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) takes place January 10-13, 2012 in Las Vegas but the new product announcements have already started rolling in. Big news (literally) from Westinghouse Digital – the company will unveil its largest offering to date, the 70-inch UW70T9VZ 1080p Full HD LED TV. This new LED TV boasts a 120Hz refresh rate and has an 8 ms response time.

Also, Westinghouse will be debuting its first offering from an upcoming line of ultra-slim bezel LED HDTVs - the 46-inch UW46T5PZ. This 1080p Full HD TV, in addition to its ultra-slim bezel design, offers great picture quality and features a 120Hz refresh rate.

But CES won't be all about TVs. Westinghouse will also be showcasing its first soundbar, the WSB-N20BW Series Soundbar with Wireless Bluetooth. ViewSonic Outs New Portable LED Projectors with 20,000-hour Lamp Life

ViewSonic on Monday announced two new ultra-portable LED projectors - the PLED-W200 and PLED-W500.

Available in October, these projectors come packed with features including a 20,000-hour long lamp life, WXGA widescreen resolutions for large screen HD projection, integrated speakers, and are 3D-ready with 120Hz frame rates. Energy-efficient, both the PLED-W200 and PLED-W500 also offer an SD card reader for displaying documents, photos, videos and other multimedia files without the need for a PC. The PLED-W500 also adds in 1GB of internal memory for additional multimedia file storage.

Both projectors deliver high native WXGA resolutions for 720p HD viewing, and the PLED-W200 offers 250 ANSI lumens with the PLED-W500 boasting 500 ANSI lumens.
