Beginning today, March 28, you can head to your local Best Buy store to purchase Cricket Broadband's $50 monthly Internet service plan. All-inclusive, Cricket's Internet service plan includes all fees and telecom taxes and provides you with unlimited high-speed wireless Internet access without a signed contract, credit check or overage fees.

Cricket also has the Cricket A600 modem available at Best Buy for $69.99 with no activation fee. $50.00 top-up cards are also available for this product at Best Buy. Cricket Broadband works with Windows 2000, XP, Vista, 7 plus Mac OS 10.3.9 and higher.

LG returns to Cricket with the announcement of the LG HELiX. The HELiX features a 2.0" internal color display, a smaller external color display, 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, one-touch speakerphone, and a large keypad.

The HELiX is available in silver and pink and supports Cricket's unlimited wireless features, such as talk, text and picture messaging and Mobile Web. The LG HELiX is available today for $139.99.

Cricket just announced their new Cricket PAYGo products will be available at Best Buy Mobile locations starting Sunday, September 27, 2009.

Cricket PAYGo gives you unlimited wireless service at $1, $2 or $3 per day used and they also have new monthly Cricket PAYGo service plans, priced at $40 and $45 per month. All Cricket services are available without a signed contract or credit check and feature unlimited talk, U.S. long distance, picture messaging and domestic and international text messaging. The $45 plan has all the unlimited features of the $40 plan plus unlimited mobile Web and 411 directory assistance. The new nationwide service plans include all telecom taxes and fees and have voicemail, call waiting, caller ID and three-way calling over Cricket's 3G EVDO network.

Three phones will be available at Best Buy Mobile - the Samsung Messager II, priced at $149.99, the Samsung MyShot II, priced at $89.99 and the Cricket CAPTR available at $49.99.

The Cricket TXTM8 was built for text and picture messaging, and is ideal for keeping connected with friends and family through social networks, email and Mobile Web. Cricket MyHomeScreen provides access to news, sports, entertainment and weather at users' fingertips. A vertical slide opens to reveal a QWERTY keypad beneath the 2.2-inch TFT color display.

The phone also features a 1.3MP camera with zoom, an MP3 player, microSD memory card slot, voice recognition, and stereo Bluetooth, as well as, tri-band connectivity. Personalization is easy with an on-device storefront for ringtones, ringback tones, graphics and games & applications.

The Motorola Evoke QA4, now available for Cricket customers, features a 2.8-inch touch-screen and a slide out traditional numeric keypad. Web info is displayed on the home screen, which can be customized using integrated widget and personalized RSS feeds. The Evoke also features a full HTML browser that will use Cricket's 3G EVDO network.

The Evoke is highly customizable with widgets to provide real-time access to the information that is most important to users. It also features a 2.0 megapixel camera/camcorder, integrated music player and microSD card slot with removable memory for music, stereo Bluetooth, preloaded BREW games, voice activated dialing and more.

Cricket Communications just announced that the Motorola Hint QA30 is now available to their customers. This compact slider features a full QWERTY keypad, 2.5" color display, a 2MP camera/camcorder, an MP3 player plus a microSD memory card slot and stereo Bluetooth. The phone supports tri-band connectivity and 3G data downloads.
