Cricket's $50 Unlimited Broadband Plan Now Available at Best Buy

Beginning today, March 28, you can head to your local Best Buy store to purchase Cricket Broadband's $50 monthly Internet service plan. All-inclusive, Cricket's Internet service plan includes all fees and telecom taxes and provides you with unlimited high-speed wireless Internet access without a signed contract, credit check or overage fees.

Cricket also has the Cricket A600 modem available at Best Buy for $69.99 with no activation fee. $50.00 top-up cards are also available for this product at Best Buy. Cricket Broadband works with Windows 2000, XP, Vista, 7 plus Mac OS 10.3.9 and higher.

LG Returns to Cricket with the HELiX

LG returns to Cricket with the announcement of the LG HELiX. The HELiX features a 2.0" internal color display, a smaller external color display, 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, one-touch speakerphone, and a large keypad.

The HELiX is available in silver and pink and supports Cricket's unlimited wireless features, such as talk, text and picture messaging and Mobile Web. The LG HELiX is available today for $139.99.

Cricket PAYGo Phones Coming to Best Buy Mobile

Cricket just announced their new Cricket PAYGo products will be available at Best Buy Mobile locations starting Sunday, September 27, 2009.

Cricket PAYGo gives you unlimited wireless service at $1, $2 or $3 per day used and they also have new monthly Cricket PAYGo service plans, priced at $40 and $45 per month. All Cricket services are available without a signed contract or credit check and feature unlimited talk, U.S. long distance, picture messaging and domestic and international text messaging. The $45 plan has all the unlimited features of the $40 plan plus unlimited mobile Web and 411 directory assistance. The new nationwide service plans include all telecom taxes and fees and have voicemail, call waiting, caller ID and three-way calling over Cricket's 3G EVDO network.

Cricket Offers New Mobile Music Service

February 10, 2009 -- Cricket Communications today launched Mobile Music, allowing Cricket customers the ability to easily download songs directly to their wireless devices and/or personal computers.

Customers can search music by artist, album, song and genre to purchase tracks and download them directly to their Cricket phone for $1.99 each, or receive three download credits for a $5 monthly charge. Songs are available online at www.mycricket.com for $.99 each and customers can use Cricket’s Music Manager software to sideload the tracks to their mobile phone, or buy two copies of each song, one for their PC and one for their phone for $2.25 per song.

To kick-off the new Mobile Music offering, Cricket has partnered with Grammy-nominated artist and record producer Soulja Boy Tell ‘Em for a multifaceted promotion featuring his new hit single “Kiss Me Thru the Phone.” Through February 14, ringback tone subscribers can get a limited license free copy of the new single to be used for two weeks, the first 100 customers to download the track each day during the promotion will receive it for free, and customers will have a chance to enter an online contest to win one of 500 Samsung Jet Set handsets and a free month of Cricket service.
