In addition, iTunes can also be streamed from a Mac or PC to the three systems. Klipsch Debuts Highest Performance Subwoofer to Date: the SW-115

Klipsch this week launched its highest performance subwoofer to date – the SW-115.

Built to deliver booming bass with low distortion, this subwoofer features a front firing 15-inch extra-long-throw driver and a BASH Digital Hybrid Amplifier for efficient, reliable power. Speaking of power, this baby can deliver as much as 400 watts of continuous power, with a bass response below 20 Hz. The subwoofers' front-firing port allows the SW-115 to blend into any setup without any loss of sound.

The SW-115 weighs in at a massive 69 pounds and can be fitted into a recess or cabinet for maximum output with minimal resonance. Klipsch's AirPlay-enabled Gallery G-17 Air Available This Fall

This week at IFA, Klipsch is introducing the Klipsch Gallery G-17 Air, an AirPlay enabled speaker system.

Available in fall 2011, the Gallery G-17 Air delivers signature Klipsch sound via its two Tractrix Horn tweeters and dual 2.5-inch 20 watt woofers, while AirPlay technology allows for wireless iTunes streaming. Simply plug the G-17 Air into the wall, connect it to your wireless network, and you're ready to listen to content from your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch (running iOS 4.2). The G-17 Air is also compatible with Android smartphones and tablets using the Android music player application. In addition to built-in Wi-Fi, it includes a 3.5mm input and USB port.

The Klipsch Gallery G-17 Air will be available for $549.99 in fall 2011.

Also announced at the show is the brand's first active noise-cancelling headphones, Klipsch Mode M40; its only for-Android headset, the Image S4A; and a specialty headphone line inspired by the Klipsch Reference speakers.

Klipsch Gallery Speakers Available June 1

First showcased at this year's Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Klipsch is happy to announce that its ultra-thin Klipsch Gallery speakers will be available on June 1, 2011. Offered in four passive models, these speaker systems deliver the same power and legendary Klipsch sound as the company's horn-loaded speakers, but feature a more modern look while at the same time, occupy less space.

The four new Klipsch Gallery speakers include three satellite models (G-12, G-16 and G-28, utilized as left, center, right or surround speakers (LCRS)) and one integrated LCR 3-channel soundbar (G-42), with the names representing their size in length in inches. Each speaker can be mounted in either a horizontal or vertical position.

The Klipsch Gallery speakers are produced with a titanium tweeter with linear travel suspension, loaded behind a new 90 x 90 Tractrix horn - all working together to offer reduced distortion, deep bass and an open, natural sound.Read more

New Klipsch Icon Series Coming to Best Buy

Klipsch is bringing its new Icon series exclusively to Best Buy. The line consists of five new models - two floorstanding towers (KF-28 and KF-26), one bookshelf model (KB-15), one center channel (KC-25), and one surround sound speaker (KS-14).

Replacing the Icon V series, the Klipsch Icon series features re-engineered drivers, a new crossover system and Tractrix Horn technology, giving the speakers powerful, clear sound, while IMG woofers deliver accurate bass response. In addition, the Klipsch Icon KS-14 features Wide Dispersion Surround Technology (WDST) for maximum surround coverage. Matching SW-350 and SW-450 subwoofers are also available at Best Buy.

The Klipsch Icon series comes in a premier black ash woodgrain vinyl veneer with price points ranging from $699 to $899 for a pair of floorstanding speakers, $249 for a pair of bookshelf models, $249 for a center channel and $279 for a pair of surrounds.
