Epson P-7000: A Priceless Tool for Explorer Richard Wiese

 Explorer Richard Wiese

Great for DSLR camera users, Epson's P-7000 Photo Viewer is a device that allows you to backup and view your photos on its 4-inch LCD while you're on-the-go – no computer needed. The P-7000 features built-in memory card slots and can backup thousands of photos thanks to its 160GB hard drive. In fact, when explorer Richard Wiese was asked to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, the P-7000 was the device he chose to document his adventure. Why? He wanted a device that was easy to use, lightweight and rugged, with a long-lasting battery; and the P-7000's 160GB hard drive made it easy for him to download and save his photos from each day's climb.

At the end of each day, all Wiese had to do was insert the card from his camera into the viewer to quickly download all of his images. He could then zoom in to confirm focus and detail, preview both RAW and JPEG images, and make edits. The P-9000 also has video and audio output, allowing him to set up a slide show and show his team the day's pictures. Read more
