Dr. Dre and Jimmy Lovine, Beats Electronics co-founder, have teamed up with HP on a new limited edition notebook, the HP ENVY 15.

Starting at 5.19 pounds and just 1-inch thick, the HP ENVY 15 Beats limited edition notebook PC features the Intel Core i7 mobile processor and a choice of two 15.6-inch HP BrightView LED backlit displays, including the full high-definition LED HP Ultra BrightView Widescreen Display. A Nightvision VGA webcam is optimized for low-light conditions and is standard. The notebook also includes Beats by Dr. Dre Studio High-Definition Headphones and an external optical drive. Are you a huge baseball fan? Show it on your laptop! Dell just announced that beginning next month; you will be able to order the Inspiron Mini, Inspiron and Studio laptops with Major League Baseball Team Designs.

Choose from thirty MLB team logos. Something for every baseball fan is there - from the New York Yankees to the Los Angeles Dodgers, Philadelphia Phillies to the St. Louis Cardinals, Dell is confident baseball fans will love their collection of customized artwork. Too hard to choose? Dell has a design with all the teams as well (pictured above). Three designs are available for each MLB team - in Fan, Classic and Die-Hard designs. The MLB design options will be available from Dell.com next month (November).

Dell and Napster just announced that starting later this month select Inspiron and Studio PCs will include a free year (a $60 value) of Napster, along with 60 MP3s of your choice. The MP3's can be downloaded onto any compatible device, including Zunes, iPods and music-enabled mobile phones. Napster automatically adds music to your iTunes or Windows Media Player as well.

Select Dell Studio and Inspiron PC models shipping directly from Dell in the U.S., U.K. and Germany, as well as Dell PCs purchased at Best Buy in the U.S., will be sold with a Napster icon on the desktop and "Dell Dock" that enables instant redemption of a one-year Napster subscription. After the free year, you can get MP3 downloads and unlimited on-demand music from Napster for as low as $5 per month.

Toshiba just announced a new series of laptops, the Satellite T100 Series. Unlike the pricey Dell Latitude Z, these ultra-thin laptops start at just $449.99.

Toshiba's Satellite T100 Series will be available in two screen sizes. The T135 features a 13.3-inch widescreen display and will be available with Toshiba's Fusion Finish in Nova Red, Nova Black and Nova White. The Satellite T115 has an 11.6-inch widescreen display and will be available in Nova Red and Nova Black.

The laptops feature Windows 7 Home Premium, spacious hard drives, ultra-fast DDR3 memory and lots of expansion ports, including HDMI-out. Built-in Wireless N technology and Bluetooth (available on select models), full-sized keyboards and full-sized Touch Pads with Multi-touch Control are included as well.Read more

Dell's new Latitude Z laptop is what the company calls "the world's first ultra-thin 16-inch laptop." Weighing in at 4.5 pounds and measuring less than an inch thin, the Latitude Z comes standard with a four-cell battery. But what makes this laptop really stand out is it's the first laptop to offer wireless inductive charging via a docking station (sold separately).

Toshiba just unveiled the Qosmio X500 Series, a line of laptops geared for high definition multimedia and gaming.

Qosmio X500 Series laptops feature the new Intel Core i7 processor, an 18.4-inch diagonal widescreen display, Windows 7 and Intel's Turbo Boost Technology. The laptops also offer DDR3 system memory, dual hard-drive configurations, and NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250M graphics with 1GB of GDDR5 video memory.
