The anit-inFamous title, Prototype has finally launched. Boasting a shape-shifting main character, many are excited to see just how malleable the character and gameplay really is.

New York City is buzzing with many vehicles and pedestrians, but it still feels like something is missing. The city of New York looks decent, but considering what the current gen systems can accomplish, I felt a little let down. Don't get me wrong, Alex Mercer looks excellent and so does his various abilities, but the rest of the game definitely doesn't live up to par. However, with so much going on all at once, I never experienced any slowdown or graphical glitches, which would have pretty much crippled the gameplay.

FIFA 10 Dated and Detailed

Launching October 2nd, FIFA 10 will be available on the DS, PC, 360, PS3, PS2, PSP and Wi.

Here are some improvements:

FIFA 10 promises to get rid of a few glitches found in 09: specifically, every once in a while, some players will do this weird backpedaling movement and get kind of "stuck" on the ball.
Some of 09's star players, like Barcelona's Samuel Eto'o and Manchester United's Christiano Ronaldo, among others, have been retooled, knocking them from "Godlike Supermen" to "normal dudes that happen to be good at kicking."
Team defensive A.I. has also been improved across all platforms.
EA Canada has also included a new, "360°" dribbling system, not sure how it will be different from the previous years, but it should be decent at least.
Training Mode is back! So if you need help on your corner kicks or free kicks, then you can practice outside of a game.

2K Sports Announces NBA 2K10: Anniversary Edition

July 1, 2009-To celebrate 10 years of the popular NBA 2K franchise, and the milestone of having sold two million units of NBA 2K9 worldwide, 2K Sports today announced that the NBA 2K10: Anniversary Edition is planned for release in North America this fall for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PLAYSTATION 3 computer entertainment system. As part of a limited edition offering of only 30,000 copies, each NBA 2K10: Anniversary Edition will be individually numbered for authenticity. Ten lucky fans will have the rare opportunity to find an autographed Kobe Bryant fine-art print, designed by Shepard Fairey's Studio Number One, which will be hidden and randomly packaged among the different lockers. Microsoft's E3 Press Conference Rundown

The big news was the motion sensor, Natal, which is a camera and a sensor bar that just plugs directly into the 360. Natal recognizes faces, body movements, objects, and even voices in order to integrate the player into the gaming environment. You can even browse the NXE using hand controls as in the movie Minority Report. Natal will automatically pick up who is in front of it and log that person into Xbox LIVE.

The video store will now be Zune-branded with 1080p instant-on streaming content in 18 countries. There will also be Facebook, Twitter and Last.FM integration.Read more

Flight 666 Touches Down on Rock Band June 9

Iron Maiden master recordings made available as downloadable content for Rock Band Music Store for the first time

May 29, 2009 – Metal lovers take notice! Harmonix Music, the leading developer of music-based games, and MTV Games, along with distribution partner Electronic Arts Inc., today announced that 12 tracks from Iron Maiden, one of the world's most successful rock bands, will be added June 9 to the Rock Band Music Store of downloadable content for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PLAYSTATION 3 computer entertainment system and the Wii system.

The release of these downloadable tracks coincides with the U.S. release of Flight 666 on Blu-ray and DVD as well as a double-CD soundtrack album and limited edition double-vinyl picture disc. Flight 666 documents the first leg of Maiden's legendary SOMEWHERE BACK IN TIME WORLD TOUR, which took them 50,000 miles around the planet, playing 23 concerts on five continents in just 45 days. One of the stars of the movie is the band's customized Boeing 757, Ed Force One, which carried the band, all their crew and 12 tons of stage equipment and was piloted by Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson, a fully qualified and active Airline Captain with Astraeus Airlines.

Live recordings of "Aces High," "Hallowed Be Thy Name," "Fear of the Dark" and "Iron Maiden," featured on Flight 666, are among those available for download in the Rock Band Music Store June 9. The other eight songs were amongst those featured on the band's Somewhere Back in Time World Tour during the first leg of which Flight 666 was filmed.
