HP Leads Next Wave of PC Gaming Innovation with HP Blackbird 002

Sept. 6, 2007 – HP is pushing innovation in the PC desktop industry to a new level with the introduction of the HP Blackbird 002, a performance PC created by gamers for gamers. LG Electronics Launches Second-Generation Dual-Format HD Disc Player

Sept. 5, 2007 – LG Electronics, the first company to introduce a dual-format high-definition disc player, today unveiled its second-generation LG Super Blu™ Player (model BH200). Sporting both formats’ logos, LG’s new high-def player is capable of Blu-ray disc and HD DVD playback with advanced BD-Java and HDi interactivity, enabling consumers to choose from the widest variety of high-def content regardless of disc format.

SANYO Introduces Affordable 1080p LCD Front Projector

Sept. 5, 2007 -- SANYO, one of the world's largest manufacturers of projectors introduces the PLV-Z2000 1080p LCD projector during CEDIA EXPO this week in Denver, CO. Xperinet, Inc. Adopts Blu-ray

August 2007 – In yet another coup de grace for the fading HD-DVD camp, Blu-ray Disc has succeeded in wooing Xperinet, Inc., the leader in development of performance IP media networks. Xperinet announced today it will outfit its 2008 line of media servers and clients with Blu-ray drives, further solidifying the format's dominance over HD-DVD in the marketplace. Scheduled to ship in October, the MIRV (Multiple Independent Replay Video) HD line of media servers will include a Blu-ray ROM drive for loading high-resolution 1080p MPEG-2 and H.264 files.
