Apple Releases Aperture 2

Feb. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Apple today introduced Aperture 2, the next major release of its groundbreaking photo editing and management software with over 100 new features that make it faster, easier to use and more powerful. With a streamlined user interface and entirely new image processing engine, Aperture 2 also introduces new imaging tools for highlight recovery, color vibrancy, local contrast definition, soft-edged retouching, vignetting and RAW fine-tuning, and lets users directly post their portfolios on the .Mac Web Gallery* for viewing on the web, iPhone, iPod touch and Apple TV. Apple Adds New iPhone & iPod touch Models

February 5, 2008—Apple today added new models of the iPhone and iPod touch which have double the memory, doubling the amount of music, photos and videos that customers can carry with them wherever they go. The revolutionary iPhone now comes in a new 16GB model for $499, joining the 8GB model for $399. iPod touch now comes in a 32GB model for $499, joining the 16GB model for $399 and the 8GB model for $299.

WaterField Designs Unveils the HardCase for MacBook Air

January 22, 2008 - WaterField Designs announces the HardCase in custom-fitted sizes for Apple’s new MacBook Air, the MacBook Pro and the MacBook. The svelte, new HardCase is constructed of fine, smooth, leather and ballistic nylon. The case offers rugged laptop protection in a classic, minimalist design. EA Reveals SPORE for the Mac

January 16, 2008--At the Macworld Expo today, Electronic Arts Inc. announced that Spore will be available for the Mac later this year. From Will Wright, creator of the mega-hit The Sims comes Spore, the only game that allows creative personalities to explore the depths of their own personal galaxy. A sneak peek of the game will be on display at the Macworld Expo in San Francisco, CA throughout this week. A PC version of the game will also be released later this year.

Twentieth Century Fox & Apple Introduce iTunes Digital Copy

January 15, 2008—Twentieth Century Fox and Apple today announced Digital Copy for iTunes, which provides customers who purchase a DVD with an additional Digital Copy of the movie. Just like movies purchased from the iTunes Store, an iTunes Digital Copy can effortlessly be transferred to iTunes and then viewed on a PC or Mac, iPod with video, iPhone or on Apple TV. The first DVD to make its debut with iTunes Digital Copy is the Special Edition DVD premiere of the Family Guy “Star Wars” parody, “Family Guy Presents: Blue Harvest,” which is being released in stores today. Fox and Apple are planning to deliver many more DVDs with iTunes Digital Copy this year.
