Nintendo Announces Super Mario All Stars Limited Edition


 Super Mario Bros. 25th Anniversary

In celebration of Super Mario Bros. 25th anniversary, Nintendo announced that starting Dec. 12, 2010 they will offer a Super Mario All-Stars Limited Edition package (while supplies last). This package features four classic Mario games playable on the Wii system, a Super Mario History soundtrack CD and an illustrated Super Mario History commemorative booklet. Super Mario All-Stars will be available for $29.99.

The games included in the Super Mario All-Stars collection are Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels, Super Mario Bros. 2 and Super Mario Bros. 3. Each game features the enhanced graphics and updated sound from the Super NES Super Mario All-Stars collection, and all four can be played on the Wii system using the Wii Remote controller, Classic Controller, Classic Controller Pro or the Nintendo GameCube controller.

Nintendo Outs Red Bundles, New Wii Remote Plus Controller

Nintendo unveiled new red bundles, along with a new Wii Remote Plus controller this week. All products will be hitting stores on November 7, 2010 (in time for the holiday shopping season, of course) and the limited-edition products will be available while supplies last.

The lineup includes:

Red Wii Bundle: This limited-edition Wii comes in red to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the original Super Mario Bros. game. The bundle includes New Super Mario Bros.
