Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort Offers Fourth of July Fun and Special Rates

Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort just announced its line up and special rates for this 4th of July weekend celebration.

Sandestin's holiday weekend features two fireworks celebrations and a weekend packed with complimentary events and amenities.

Free Family Fun

"Red, White and Baytowne" at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort offers events for the entire family and people of all ages. The celebration kicks off at The Village of Baytowne Wharf on Friday, July 3 at 7 pm with the entertaining sounds and sights of Coconut Radio.

July 4 begins with the roaring river water slide at 10 am, which will remain open until 10 pm. At 6 pm, a stilt walker will be showing off his skills while a facepainter paints patriotic faces. Betsy Ross will also make an appearance at 6 pm. American flags will be passed out during the day and guests will have the opportunity to write a letter to a soldier.

The Market Shops at Sandestin will offer discounts of up to 50% on the 4th of July. Live entertainment featuring Reed Waddle will be at 6-8 pm on the Cypress Green combined with children's activities by Imagine Faces with face painting and balloon sculptures.

The day concludes with two extravagant fireworks shows. At 9 p.m., guests can enjoy a fireworks show on the beach on the Gulf of Mexico. At 9:15, spectators can enjoy the sights and sounds of fireworks at the Village of Baytowne Wharf. American flags will be passed out during the day and guests will have the opportunity to write a letter to a soldier.

On Sunday July 5, the roaring river water slide will run again in the Village from 10 am to 10 pm, and Coconut Radio will entertain crowds from 6-9 pm.

Children can also participate in the Fishing Rodeo on Sunday at the Village Lagoon from 5-8 pm. Children need to bring their own pole and e-mail contact@baytownewharf.com to register.
