Sprint Radio features more than 50 channels of streaming radio and video with programming that offers today's hottest music and music videos as well as news, weather, sports, finance and entertainment from popular sources such as NPR, ESPN and Radio Disney. Phone with Family Locator service Just in time for back to school, Sprint has enhanced its child-locating service, Sprint Family Locator, making it available to more families and simplifying the registration process. Sprint also offers a phone with built-in parental controls and a new Web access management feature to help parents limit their children's access to only the phone services they deem appropriate.

Sprint Family Locator is an inexpensive ($9.99 a month) way for families on the go stay in constant touch. Mom, Dad or a trusted caregiver can locate loved ones without disturbing their activities, receive notification when a child enters or leaves a designated area, and quickly/easily send text messages to one or more family members. This service uses GPS technology to determine the location of authorized mobile handsets, which it then displays on an interactive map. Sprint Family Locator also provides the user with text-message communication and account management options. June 29, 2006--To help parents stay connected with their children and maintain some control of their children's wireless phone usage, Sprint and SANYO today introduce the Sprint PCS Vision Phone SCP-2400 by SANYO. This phone offers a free parental control feature, allowing parents to easily manage whom the child calls and who can call the child. A parent simply enters the phone numbers of those individuals the child is permitted to call and/or receive calls from in the phone's address book, and then clicks on the Parental Control icon on the main menu to limit use to Phone Book Only for both incoming and/or outgoing direct calls.
