Sprint just announced that the Palm Pixi will be available on November 15th for $99.99 with a two-year service agreement, after a $50 instant rebate and $100 mail-in rebate.

Pixi has the same features of the Palm Pre, including the gesture area, full QWERTY keyboard, Palm Synergy, true multi-tasking, universal search and intuitive notifications, but also adds Yahoo! integration to Palm Synergy, joining Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Exchange ActiveSync and LinkedIn. Available today from Sprint, the Motorola Debut i856 is the first vertical slider phone with Nextel Direct Connect push-to-talk service. It is also the first device to offer the upgraded ability to switch from an active push-to-talk call to a voice call by simply touching a button.

The Debut i856 includes a built-in MP3 player with external music controls, 1.3 MP camera with video capture and up to 4x digital zoom, Stereo Bluetooth and GPS. A GPS Tagging feature lets you tag a picture with the GPS information from the picture's location using the GPS receiver built into the handset. You can also send and receive messages, calendar events, pictures, location information and more, without interrupting a Direct Connect call, as well as play music while you text or talk.

It seems that everywhere you look, there is a new Android device hitting the marketplace. Not to be outdone by T-Mobile's line-up, Sprint just announced that the Samsung Moment handset on the Android platform will be available on November 1, 2009.

Featuring built-in Google mobile services, such as Google Search, Google Maps, Gmail and YouTube, the Samsung Moment has a 3.2-inch AMOLED touch-screen and is powered by an 800 MHz processor.Read more

Sprint and Samsung announced that the Samsung Intrepid Windows smartphone will be available at Sprint stores on October 11, 2009.

Samsung Intrepid runs on Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional and has a customizable Today screen to display the features that you access the most, such as new emails, text messages, missed calls, etc. And, the Intrepid is the first device to offer Microsoft's Tellme, which lets you dial a contact, compose a text message and search the Web by using just your voice. The Samsung Instinct HD is available today (Sept. 27) at Best Buy Mobile. On Oct. 11 it will be in Sprint stores and online at ww.sprint.com. It is priced at $249.99 with a new two-year service agreement after a $100 mail-in rebate (taxes and service charges excluded).

Best Buy just announced that they will be selling the Sprint HTC Hero smart phone when it launches on October 11th. It will be available in all Best Buy stores as well as the stand alone Best Buy Mobile stores. They are the exclusive national retailer.

Also, to save customers the hassle of mailing in rebate forms, those who purchase the smart phone at Best Buy Mobile will receive instant savings of $150 at the point of purchase. The phone will retail for $179.99, after $150 instant savings, with two-year Sprint service activation.

The HTC Hero runs on Google's Android operating platform and is the first phone to feature HTC Sense - a widget-based interface that puts at-a-glance info on the home screen. Sprint just announced that on August 16 the Samsung Reclaim will be available at retail stores and online at www.sprint.com. The eco-friendly Reclaim is made from 80 percent recyclable materials and will sell for only $50 (with a two-year agreement and after a $30 instant rebate and a $50 mail-in rebate). $2 of the proceeds will benefit The Nature Conservancy's Adopt an Acre program, which supports land conservation across the United States.

The Reclaim features a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 2 megapixel camera with 3x digital zoom and camcorder, Sprint Navigation, stereo Bluetooth, integrated web browser, and expandable memory storage up to 32GB. The Samsung Reclaim will be available August 16th in two colors – Earth Green and Ocean Blue.

Sprint today announced that the new Motorola Clutch i465 will be available this summer for $39.99 with a new two-year service agreement, $20 instant rebate and $50 mail-in rebate (excluding taxes).

The Motorola Clutch i465 is the first iDEN Nextel Direct Connect device with a full QWERTY keyboard. It also offers Group Messaging, which lets you create groups of up to 20 people to send messages to at the same time.

The Clutch i465 also meets Military Specification 810F for low pressure, high and low temperatures, dust, shock, vibration and solar radiation, and is Java-enabled, comes with a digital still and video camera, and supports GPS, Bluetooth and third-party apps.
