Train Like the Pro's with Home Aquatic Exercise Equipment

HydroWorx pool HydroWorx, maker of aquatic exercise equipment, has created a fitness pool that can be purchased for your home. It's actually a smaller version of the training pool that the Indiana Pacers added to their workout facility the same year they made it to the NBA finals for the first time! This pool is already a hot item with the Cincinnati Bengals, the Dallas Mavericks, and the Philadelphia Eagles.
The 7.6- by 14-foot pool, which holds about 4 1/2 feet of water, includes an underwater treadmill that can be used for walking, jogging or running. Treadmill speeds range from 0 to 7.5 miles per hour.

Exercisers can also swim against the water current produced by built-in jets, or connect a tube to one of the jets to create a hand-held massage system.

Now, cool your jets before you reach for your checkbook. All this wonder comes at a hefty price. The cost of a unit starts at $24,900, and includes the treadmill, an electric heater, and a water purification system. (Swim-only units, sans the treadmill, start at $16,900).

For a little extra, buyers can add an underwater video monitoring system. These pool's can be installed inside or outside, above ground or in ground.
