Tahiti Heats Up in Manhattan

On February 24, 2005, Tahitian drummers and dancers dressed in authentic Polynesian costumes brought a “Taste of the Tropics” to Midtown Manhattan, while Olympic legend Katarina Witt added her own warmth as she skated to music for thousands of lunchtime onlookers on an ice skating rink in Times Square. The event brought visions of the tropics to New York as temperatures hit the freezing mark, and also celebrated Tahitian NONI’s international launch of its TePoemä skin care and Moéa spa body product lines.
