Runners Can Now Customize Their Running Shoes

NIKE iD has risen to a new level, by now offering performance feature changes. Customers can now make their dream running shoes with the Air Pegasus 2000, one of Nike's most established running shoes. Known for its great fit, cushioning and ride, the Air Pegasus 2000 now offers performance options that allow runners to design a shoe that also fits their individual needs. The Air Pegasus 2000 iD will allow runners to customize the outsole, midsole, width, color and personalization features of the shoe.

Outsole Choices
There are three outsole options specific to the runner's primary running surface:

• Trail running
• Responsive road ride
• Durable road ride

Midsole Choices
Two midsole densities are available depending on individual running mechanics:

• Single density midsole for normal pronation
• Double density midsole for excessive pronation

Widths

• Narrow
• Standard
• Wide

Accent Colors
The Air Pegasus 2000 iD is available in Grey Stone/Midnight Navy/Sport Red, White/Metallic Silver/Sport Red, Midnight Navy/Orange Blaze/Midnight Navy and Medium Grey/Light Graphite/Del Sol. There is also a Trail Material Package offered designed to clean up well, shed water and keep debris away from the foot. The Trail Material Package is available in Anthracite/Varsity Blue/Magnet and Light Bone/Team Red/Varsity Red.

Personalization
Runners can place their name, nickname, team name or other personalization (up to 10 characters) on the heel of the shoe.

How to do it
Log onto nikerunning.com, renderings of the personalized shoe appear in real-time on the screen so customers can alter and/or approve their shoes before confirming the order. Customers can expect their new creations in the mail within about three weeks.
