Active.com: Started as an online registration site for events and grew from
that.
Active.com is bringing convenience to event, league and park directors

tools for a wide range of sports and activities. Sports and recreation
enthusiasts can find, learn about and register online for events and

Getfit.com: A health and fitness site formed by two Stanford grads in 1998.
Some workouts aren't running yet while others take you back to registration.
The site features Celebrity Profiles that provide exercise tips from pros
like Cynthia Cooper of the WNA and a U.S. Olympics Swim coach. Their
Athletic Performance page provides tips for competition. They have an
Interactive Human Figure where you can select body parts to focus on and get
listings of fitness machines to use and exercises to perform.
thriveonline.com: Part of
Oxygen.com and extremely women orientated.
Features medical, fitness, sexuality, nutrition, serenity and weight
sections. Has experts and was the winner of the 2000 Health Webby Awards.
