Sonic Impact’s Super T-Amp Ushers in New Level of Class T Amplifiers
April 4, 2006 ––Consumer electronics manufacturer Sonic Impact is introducing the Super T-Amp, a high efficiency digital power supply for most speaker systems that –– like Sonic Impact’s previous Class T offering ––greatly enhances sound quality for a minimal price.
The Super T-Amp offers both the audio fidelity of Class AB technology and the power efficiency of Class D digital amplifiers ––– providing audiophile quality sound in a compact and efficient mini tower. Any RCA right/left inputs can be used to connect to the Super T-Amp. At a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $139, Sonic Impact Super T-Amp is available online at www.si5.com.
A clean digital processing amp with a power output of up to 15 watts per channel, the Super T-Amp also can be used with an optional wall adapter for up to 15 watts per channel total audio output.
With low heat output and simple controls, the Super T-Amp is compatible with most existing speakers for clean digital audio. And, at seven inches high, three inches wide and weighing less than three pounds, it can operate off a portable power supply ––providing maximum portability and efficiency.
Sonic Impact is presenting the Super T-Amp more than a year after the launch of its original Class T-Amp, which was hailed by audiophiles as a breakthrough in digital audio amplification –– weighing only one and a half pounds and providing output similar to systems priced 10 times greater than its suggested retail price of $39. The Super T-Amp offers a wide variety of upgrades and enhancements to its predecessor, including an aluminum chassis, a heavy-duty internal main board, an AC power supply and gold-plated professional grade audio inputs and outputs. It also is designed to sit vertically in a tower configuration.
