Sharp Teams with NBC Universal on AQUOS Net-Enabled Sharp AQUOS LCD TVs

September 4, 2008 -- Sharp, a worldwide leader in flat-panel Liquid Crystal Display Televisions, announced today an agreement with NBC Universal to bring NBCU content in the form of text and pictures to AQUOS Net connected TVs. Sharp Adds Portrait Mode Model to 65-Inch Professional HD LCD Lineup

January 16, 2007 -- Expanding on its recently upgraded line of professional LCD monitors, Sharp today introduced the PN-655RU, the first 65-inch LCD display specifically designed to operate in portrait mode. To ensure reliable operation and backlight life for use in portrait mode, Sharp optimized the internal cooling, air flow and backlight system.
